Rescuing Animals — Helping Orphans
Welcome to Butterfly Ranch Texas — where God has entrusted many animals to our care. We take that responsibility seriously. Some were rescued from dire circumstances, some adopted from shelters or kill pens, some purchased, and some were born right here at the ranch. This is their home now — a new life begun. In a similar way, we believe we too have been rescued from our pasts, adopted, purchased by the blood of Jesus, and born again as new creations. You can read about that in the Holy Bible. Like the animals in our care, we belong to Jesus and God the Father — and no one can take us from them.
"And I give unto them eternal life; and they shall never perish, neither shall any man pluck them out of my hand. My Father, which gave them me, is greater than all; and no man is able to pluck them out of my Father's hand." — John 10:28-29
"For every beast of the forest is mine, and the cattle upon a thousand hills. I know all the fowls of the mountains: and the wild beasts of the field are mine." — Psalm 50:10-11

These verses don't just hang on our wall — they shape the way we live, the way we ranch, and the reason everything we do here points toward something larger than ourselves.
Butterfly Ranch is a privately held family farm and homestead in Texas — and a sanctuary for our own personal animal rescues. We don't accept donations or offer animals for adoption. This is simply our way of living — full of joy and purpose and one we embrace wholeheartedly. Our faith reminds us that everything we have belongs to God, and that conviction, alongside our personal life mission, led us into a meaningful partnership with Allies in Youth Development — an organization dedicated to supporting programs that serve orphaned youth around the world. We've recently discovered another way to give to this extraordinary cause: raising and selling steers from our cattle herd, with 100% of the proceeds going directly to Allies — to benefit orphaned children who need it most.
