Wildlife found at Butterfly Ranch

When we first arrived at Butterfly Ranch, the land was parched and life was scarce. Now the ranch teems with wildlife, insects, and creatures of every kind — welcomed and wild alike. We steward what God has placed in our care, but He remains the ultimate caregiver, tending to all living things far beyond the reach of our fences. The fox and the hawk, the deer and the field mouse — none of them belong to us, and none of them are forgotten by Him. Our Abba Father knows every need and tenderly provides for all that belongs to Him, from the creatures we shelter to the ones that roam free beyond our gates. His provision is evident throughout the land, in ways that humble and instruct us daily. 

"But ask now the beasts, and they shall teach thee; and the fowls of the air, and they shall tell thee: Or speak to the earth, and it shall teach thee: and the fishes of the sea shall declare unto thee. Who knoweth not in all these that the hand of the Lord hath wrought this? In whose hand is the soul of every living thing, and the breath of all mankind." — Job 12:7–10
