At Butterfly Ranch, we are blessed to witness something deeply sacred in the turning of each season — the quiet, faithful return of butterflies to this land. Though Scripture doesn't name them by word, the butterfly has long been understood as one of God's most eloquent signatures in creation — a living picture of transformation, resurrection, and new life. As 2 Corinthians 5:17 reminds us, "Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new." We see that truth alive and breathing here every spring. We do our part by carefully stewarding the native milkweed they depend on, trusting that what we protect and tend will be honored in kind. There is something profoundly humbling about watching these fragile creatures navigate a world so much bigger than themselves — and yet they do, with a grace that feels like nothing short of a sermon written in wings. The photos below offer just a glimpse of the beauty the Lord sets before us here every day.
